A music aficionado of all genres including: hip-hop, house, breaks, funk, soul, afro-beat, reggae, 80's, top 40's, EDM, and rock, Dr. Unos and Dubs is one of the most versatile and down-to-earth deejays to hit the New York City social scene.  Featured in the CNN iReport and in the New York Post, he is a professor of the art of turntablism and is becoming a rising popular media personality. Dr. Unos and Dubs is affectionately known as “one of the best DJs on the planet”, according to the Photo ID Foundation.

Dr. Unos and Dubs has performed at popular New York City nightlife venues such as: B.B. King's Bar & Grill, BOB's Bar, Drom (NYC), Fashion 40, Pachita, Spike Hill & Public Assembly, Taj, Tribeca Cinemas, The Vault, and Webster Hall. He has also performed for numerous high-profile social life parties including spinning on behalf of celebrity urban art painter Justin Bua as well as hosting a Grammy Music Award’s telecast party at rapper Jay-Z’s exclusive 40-40 Club. Unos and Dubs has also served as a tour DJ for internationally-known indie hip-hop artists Scienze and Josh Baze while also opening for notable rap acts including Slick Rick, Ludacris and Childish Gambino. He frequently rock crowds along side fellow popular NYC DJs including: DMC Champion DJ Esquire, DJ Dallas Green, DJ Suga Ray, DJ Rampage Global, DJ Tim Martell, and T.J. Mizell aka Dasmatic. Dr. Unos and Dubs has also worked the "ones and twos" for the following clients: The African American Arts Festival (NYC), Chelsea Light House, Congressman Hakeem Jeffries, Housing Works Book Store, Mondrion Hotel, The New Museum, Patron, The Schomburg Center, Spotify, and Red Bull.   

In addition to deejaying, Dr. Unos and Dubs is an educator and host. He teaches the art of turntablism to many upcoming DJs. Unos and Dubs is a resident instructor at the world-renown Scratch DJ Academy founded by Rob Principe and the late Jam Master Jay of the legendary rap group Run DMC. He also teaches a course in the fundamentals of deejaying replacing his mentor, the legendary DJ Rob Swift (who previously taught the course) on behalf of The Parsons' New School college. In addition, Dr. Unos and Dubs devotes time to teaching aspiring young girls basic deejaying techniques at the Black Girls Rock non-profit mentoring program founded by celebrity DJ Beverly Bond. He has also provided DJ instruction to singer/songwriter/actress Ester Dean for the Universal Studio's Hollywood press release of the movie, "Pitch Perfect". He has provided instruction to NBA player Mike Dunleavy, Jr. of the Milwaukee Bucks as well as TV personality Raqi Thunda of the hit reality show Love & Hip-Hop (New York).

Dr. Unos and Dubs has served as a resident DJ and co-host of the popular radio show The Musical Medicine Lab which broadcasts from the world's first eco-friendly radio station made from shipping containers - BBoxradio.com; he has also performed over the airwaveson behalf of Brooklyn College Radio, Scion's Audio Visual Radio Streaming, and PNC Online Radio.



Currently, Dr. Unos and Dubs can be found spinning every Tuesday at Fat Buddah's and monthly at the Von Bar. He is a resident of Brooklyn, New York, USA.
